Acupuncture, a traditional Chinese medicine practice, has been utilized for centuries in the treatment of various health conditions, including inflammatory bowel diseases like ulcerative colitis. The results of this study suggested that acupuncture may provide an additional therapeutic benefit for patients suffering from mild to moderately active ulcerative colitis.
